The children explored butterflies in the Tropical House, farm animals and a range of birds and small animals. They even joined an ‘Animal Senses’ guided workshop where they learnt lots of new information! It was so lovely to hear the children using vocabulary that they have learnt in school across the year, during their guided session. They used the words: predator, nocturnal and hibernate, just to mention a few! The Shining Stars travelled on the tractors and bikes, the zip wire and they loved the adventure playground. The visit had a grand finale in the Water Park and a quick trip to the shop. What a fabulous day!
