1 Hours per day, Term Time Only + 2 INSET days

Working Pattern – Lunchtimes Monday to Friday

Tankersley St Peter’s C.E. (Aided) Primary School is a friendly school where there is a consistently highly motivated, committed and supportive team.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our happy and supportive team of supervisors to oversee the children during the lunchtime period.  The working hours will be 1 hour per day, Mon-Fri (term time only).

Lunchtime supervisors will be required to supervise the children in the playground and dining room. Successful applicants will be expected to:

  • contribute to the development of a positive approach to lunchtime play
  • take part in activities with children over the lunchtime period
  • organise and maintain play equipment
  • support other lunchtime supervisors in delivering play activities
  • encourage children to choose and eat their lunch
  • be aware of and deliver Health and Safety in the dining room.

Applicants should be willing to join in games, oversee quiet activities and supervise children having free play in the school playground.
