The year 4 pupils have been learning all about the Tudor times in history and in their music lesson they rehearsed a special performance with Mrs Cooper about this very interesting period. Everyone dressed up – there were courtiers, sailors, the queens and of course the king himself and the children sang songs with great enthusiasm and some brilliant actions. There was a song about Prince Henry and all his talents, one about the 6 wives and one about Henry’s favourite ship, the Mary Rose. The whole school watched the performance as did the parents who were also invited to attend. Everyone had a jolly good time and learnt more about this fascinating time in history…
