On Friday we took part in a very special worship exploring the meaning of the Lord’s Prayer. It was led by the members of the Worship Council who explained the significance of the prayer for Christians and guided everyone through its message line by line.
A group of pupils brought the story from the Gospel of Luke to life, reenacting the moment when Jesus taught his followers how to pray and the newly formed school worship band also gave a moving performance of the song “God Will Work It Out.”
Our worship time is really important for us as a school community as it enables us to reflect and helps us to nurture our spirituality. The children loved preparing the music and drama for this special worship and it was wonderful to share it with everyone.
