We celebrated Harvest with a wonderful service at Tankersley Church.
Each class performed a song and the whole congregation joined in with some popular Harvest hymns and songs including Conkers, Cauliflowers Fluffy, We Plough the Fields and Scatter and All Things Bright and Beautiful.
The Global Guardians prepared a presentation about Fair Trade and reminded us how many crops cannot be grown in our country and have to be imported from far away countries.
The choir also performed and it was lovely to see all the children really enjoy their singing and performing. Mrs Harrison thanked everyone for their kind food donations which have been passed on to the food bank in Barnsley and the Glebe Court residential home. The worship council shared a prayer and Reverend Chris said a blessing for us all and for all our wonderful food.
