This week we walked up to Tankersley Church for the Goodbye Service for the Butterfly Lions. It was lovely to hear about all the fun and good times they had at Tankersley School, memories they will surely treasure forever. We sang some our favourite hymns and the Y6 pupils also treated us to a medley of songs from their fantastic end of year panto. The core council thanked all the staff and parents for all their support on their learning journey and we finished with a prayer and a blessing. It was a truly wonderful service and as always very emotional for us all too.
We will really miss each and every one of the Butterly Lions and wish them the best of luck as they move to secondary school.
