We were delighted to welcome Imam Abdul Aziz from Barnsley Mosque to our school to help us learn more about Islam. It was fascinating to hear about his experiences of Hajj and how he follows the Five Pillars of Islam in his daily life. He showed us different prayer mats and a copy of the Qur’an, and he kindly answered the many questions we had prepared.
It was a wonderful opportunity to meet someone from the Muslim faith and deepen our understanding of Islam, the second largest religion in the world. Everyone learnt so much from this enriching and memorable visit.
