The Hungry Caterpillars enjoyed dressing up as words to develop and enrich their vocabulary on World Book Day. They dressed up as words such as curious, floral, anatomy, espionage and centennial. The children proudly showed the whole school their costumes during a parade in the school hall. They also took part in activities to embed their knowledge and understanding of new vocabulary.
The day finished with a lovely storytelling session, which included parents and carers. Everyone went home happy, tired and with a well deserved book token!
