The Hungry Caterpillars have been learning about Remembrance Day. We found out about wearing poppies to remember soldiers who have been injured and killed fighting in wars. We were silent at 11am on Friday to remember them.
We enjoyed creating poppies by using paint, play dough, pens and the computer. We also listened to a talk by one of our school family members about her father’s very special war medals and photographs. We would like to thank her for enhancing our learning about Remembrance Day.
