The children have enjoyed listening to ‘The Great Race’ Chinese New Year story and they have also used ordinal language to describe the order in which the animals finished the race. The children also used small world characters to act out the story, before using their phonics and tricky word knowledge to write sentences in order to re-tell the story. Well done, Shining Stars!
