The children have had great fun sequencing the Rama and Sita story, creating Mehndi hand patterns and Rangoli rice and sugar patterns. They have also enjoyed using their imagination in the small world Diwali house and role play Diwali kitchen. The childrens’ learning culminated in a Community Diwali workshop, where they were proud to share their knowledge and new understandings with parents, carers, brothers and sisters. There was Indian food tasting and an Indian dance performance for the finale!
