The children had fun looking at a range of everyday symbols, talking about their meanings. They then considered our school logo and talked about Peter in relation to the fish symbol. The children also took part in talking partner activities linked to the Christian symbols of the cross, candle light and dove. The childrens’ next step will be to reflect upon their own interests, beliefs and spirituality by creating a symbol that reflects themselves. Well done, Shining Stars!
