This half term the Shining Stars are exploring the enquiry question: ‘Who helps to keep us safe?’ and today the children were very excited to be in role as Police Officers. They had a crime to investigate and were very busy finding clues such as a lock of blonde hair, a ribbon, a tiny chair that was broken and a small bowl of porridge that had been eaten! There was a lot of detective work needed and the children set about taking finger prints of suspects and using magnifying glasses to look at their surroundings in greater detail. The police officers now plan to write their own reports about the investigation, ready to present to their sergeant Mrs Harrison! Well done, Shining Stars!
