The children enjoyed exploring the Tropical and Butterfly houses finding out about different insects and creatures. They observed cocoons, a variety of different butterflies, fish and turtles. The children also saw some giant tortoises, meerkats, porcupines, monkeys and otters! In the class guided session called ‘Feathers, Fur and Scales,’ the children touched an owl, guinea pig and skink! The weather was lovely and the children had fun in the adventure playground, dinosaur land and the sandy water park.
A great day was had by all! Thank you to all of the staff members, parents and carers who joined and supported us across the day!
