The Hungry Caterpillars have been very busy in Nursery celebrating our mummies and  the joy of reading a special story book.
The children listened to mummy themed stories and talked about why they love their mummy. Their ideas and pictures went on the front of a special Mother’s Day card. They also enjoyed creating paintings of their mummy and learnt a  super song to sing.

World Book Day learning focused on a lovely storybook, ‘In Our Hands’ by Lucy Farfort throughout the week. There were a lot of discussions about the events and characters in the story.  One particular character inspired the children to create  wonderful drawings and a large collaborative painting.  The children proudly went into the school hall at the end of the week to share their work with Mrs Harrison and the rest of our school!
