This week we performed our Easter play to all the pupils in the school and our families. We were also very honoured to welcome a special guest, Bishop Sophie who came to watch it and spend time with us. The pupils have been working very hard for weeks under the direction of Mrs Cooper – learning all the songs, their lines and polishing their acting and dancing skills.
The performances were all truly wonderful and very moving. The children really enjoyed being on stage and showcasing their fantastic music and drama skills and everyone has done an amazing job. There were 11 songs in the play in total, with many solo performances all delivered with great control and confidence.
It is so lovely to be able to celebrate Easter in our school in such a special way and learn about Jesus and his life.
