Today we took advantage of the dry weather and went for a lovely walk in Tankersley woods to see all the different flowers and plants. We are learning about plants in our science lessons and it was really interesting to see what is growing in our local area. On our way we saw bluebells, wild garlic, dandelions, daisies, nettles, ivy, hawthorns, lilac trees and many others plants and trees. We also collected litter and talked about how we need to look after the environment, appreciate the beauty of the nature and make the world a better place.
