The Hungry Caterpillars have been thinking about their daddies a lot this week. They have listened to stories with a daddy theme. They have also used pens to create super pictures of their dads on a special Father’s Day card.
The children have talked about why they love their dads so much. For example, Albert said, “I love my daddy because he puts me on my shoulders when he takes me to the park. We take my football too!” Nancy said, “I love my daddy because he makes my favourite chicken nuggets and chips. We play football outside with Harry. There’s a massive net and I get 100 goals. Daddy gets 2!” Millie said,” I love my daddy when he plays playdough with me! We play trains together. I like my daddy reading my Paw Patrol books to me at bedtime!” Martha said,” I love my daddy. He swings me up in the air. He’s strong! He takes me to the park and plays games with me, like ‘rock, paper, scissors!”
