Today we walked around our local area. We visited St Peters church and learnt some interesting facts about the cross keys and the bell tower. Then we walked to the Jubilee Park and learnt about the commemorative bench that was designed by a pupil from our school. We even got to play for a while. Finally, we went to Tankersley woods. We loved listening to the birds sing and smelt the most wonderful sweet scent of bluebells and the very strong smell of wild garlic.
