After studying an ordnance survey map and Google Earth showing Tankersley St Peters CE Primary school and locality, the Shining Stars set off on a lovely locality walk. The children spotted road signs, different styles of housing and they explored the wild garlic, bluebells and ivy growing around the trees in the woods. The children were very excited spotting mini-beasts and even watched out for the Gruffalo!
The weather was beautiful and the walk culminated in a traffic survey outside the main school entrance.
