We remembered Jesus being crucified on Easter Friday and his resurrection with a special service in Tankersley Church. Each class did a reading and we sang hymns including our favourite one – We Have a King Who Rides a Donkey. Pupils from class 3 and 4 sang 2 songs from their amazing Easter play and the choir performed as well. There was an address from Mrs Proctor-Blain and one from Canon Hale too which made us think about Jesus’s sacrifice. Happy Easter, He is alive!
