The children have made some super predictions and observations linked to their cress seed and light experiment. They set up a fair test, using 2 pots of compost, cress seeds and water. The children then placed 1 pot in the dark cupboard (with paper over it) and 1 pot in the sunlight by the window. Take a look at the photographs to see the results! The Shining Stars did some amazing explaining and concluding! Also, as part of British Science week, the children learnt about the journey of broccoli from ‘Farm to Fork.’ They shared an e book about this journey and then created a poster to sequence the stages of the journey. The children also printed with broccoli and ate it raw. What a super food!
