The children have enjoyed listening to the story: The Great Paper Caper by Oliver Jeffers. They have also been very busy writing invitations for our paper plane competition which will be held next week. The children have applied their phonics skills to write the initial and dominant sounds heard in the words that they have wanted to write. There has also been lots of learning linked to the comparison of different amounts as the children have practised using the maths vocabulary: more, most, less, least, fewer, the same. The Shining Stars have explored their own fascinations in the provision. Well done everybody!
