The Hungry Caterpillars have been learning about their sense of touch by using their hands and fingers. The children have been exploring ‘touch and feel’ books and developing their vocabulary by using words such as ‘soft, ‘hard,’ ‘rough,’ ‘smooth’ and ‘bumpy.’ They have enjoyed creating collage handprints using soft and hard materials.
The children participated in a guessing game using their sense of touch. They also used their fingers to investigate Braille dots in Braille books. Our hands have been very busy in Nursery!
