This week we went on a school trip to Castleton and visited Treak Cliff Cavern. We had a fantastic time and it was very exciting going down a real cave and learning about different rocks and fossils. Everyone had lots of questions and we found out many interesting facts about Blue John, how it is formed, mined and used. We were amazed to see some real fossils that are 330 million years old. It was a very interesting trip and we all really enjoyed it.
