This week we really enjoyed working with Keziah from the Hand to Mouth Christian charity and learning about Maria Christina Gomez, an inspirational and courageous Baptist primary school teacher from El Salvador. We looked at examples of El Salvador crosses, discussed what they represent and then created our very own ones. It was very interesting learning about the life of the people in El Salvador, the challenges they faced and how Maria Christina Gomez helped them to improve their lives. We also really enjoyed creating our crosses and were very proud of our artwork.
