Every Tuesday after school, a few Nursery and Reception children, along with family members, are taking turns to participate in an informal STEM investigation session.
Our first session was a great success. Prior to the session in school, the children had been talking about their project plans and gathering resources at home. There were plenty of light bulb moments as the children created circuits for their submarine,  ‘present maker,’ lighthouse and aircraft. The aircraft even had a second circuit to power a propeller! Mrs Harrison was inspired by the creative and critical thinking, learning by trial and error and engagement demonstrated by everyone!
