THE HUNGRY CATERPILLARS AND SHINING STARS ENJOY THEIR VISIT FROM SOUTH YORKSHIRE TRAFFIC POLICE AND THE AMBULANCE/PARAMEDICS, AS PART OF THEIR LEARNING ABOUT TRANSPORT AND WHO HELPS TO KEEP US SAFE!

The children have had a fantastic morning learning all about the roles of the traffic police officers and ambulance/paramedic staff. They enjoyed learning about job roles, specialist equipment, police dogs and even investigated the different vehicles used in these emergency services. There were lots of questions asked and new information was carefully listened to. In the afternoon, the children took on the role of police officers as they came across a Goldilocks crime scene in their EYFS outdoor area! They found several clues and have been very busy writing police information reports ever since!
A huge thank you to the South Yorkshire Traffic Police and Ambulance/Paramedic teams. We have learnt so much and have had an absolutely wonderful and memorable learning experience!
