The Hungry Caterpillars have been learning about the coronation of King Charles III by using our Smartboard to watch videos and a Powerpoint.
The children of Tankersley St. Peter’s School have participated in a coronation coin designing project to celebrate the coronation on 6th May 2023.
Each class used planning sheets to plan their coin’s design before creating their coronation coins. The finished coins are displayed on large canvases, which will feature in a lovely coronation event at Tankersley Church on 8th May 2023.
The Hungry Caterpillars are looking forward to dressing up in red, white and blue on Friday 5th May, the day before the coronation, and enjoying a coronation party in Nursery.
