The Hungry Caterpillars and Shining Stars have enjoyed learning about oral health. One of our school parents kindly offered to talk about her job as a dentist. She presented a powerpoint about looking after our teeth and brought along a range of equipment, including a toothbrush for every child. Afterwards, the children engaged in a range of activities linked to this learning, such as ‘guess the smile’ game, flossing, a dentist role play area and much more. All the EYFS children have a tooth brushing challenge and a sheet to record their toothbrushing frequency. Thank you, in advance, parents and carers for supporting your children in this challenge.
