This morning we took part in the Clyppings service in Tankersley St Peter’s Church. It was lovely to join members of the congregation and continue the tradition which as been taking place at this time of year for many decades and has its origins in Anglo-Saxon times.
We all formed a giant circle around the Church holding hands and listened to Reverend Chris as he prayed for our community and our world.
Two of the Y6 worship council members were presented with the special Fenn Bibles for and we finished the service with their wonderful prayer and a blessing.
