The Shining Stars have been learning all about Chinese New Year. The children have listened to and ordered the animals in ‘The Great Race’ story, played in the role-play Chinese Restaurant, watched information videos about China and the New Year celebrations and created Chinese character writing. They have learnt a Mandarin Chinese New Year song, before presenting all of their learning to the Nursery children. This culminated in Chinese food tasting and a dragon dance! Well done everybody!
