We had a fantastic start to the week with our Anglo-Saxon day. The children all dressed up in costumes, learnt about life in an Anglo-Saxon village, baked bread, took part in some role play, learnt a song about Alfred the Great and even wrote a letter to the king. We really enjoyed the day and it helped us to learn more about life during these times.
