WELCOME TO TANKERSLEY ST PETERS C OF E PRIMARY SCHOOL

Thank you for visiting our website.  At St Peters we all share the same vision for our children; wanting them to feel valued members of the school community, our school’s vision; “Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are my God, my Saviour and my hope is in you all day long.”

 Our vision is to:

Love our learning.

Know that God is with us, loves us and has a plan for us.

Make the world a better place.

Through our 5 key school aims  we encourage our children to aim high and have an abundance of self belief;  we develop enquiring minds and inspire  enterprising ideas through our broad and exciting creative curriculum We also aim to instil a strong community spirit in our children which is based on mutual respect  for one another –  we share our values of kindness, goodness, patience and self control through our Christian attribute beads and our sparkle and shine worship. Relationships between St Peters church and all parts of the school family are solid and there is a tangible sense of respect, love and care around the whole school.

We have the highest regard for safeguarding and keeping our pupils safe at all times. We are a global hub for other schools with many international awards.

Our class blogs on our website celebrate the wonderful learning happening daily in our classrooms and subject blogs showcase some of our wider opportunities such as our global schools work and excellence in music.

We also have a VIMEO video site which you can click on from our website to access our school videos – nobody needs to miss out on our amazing learning!

We have a twitter site for each class and a main school twitter address; @st_tankersley
