We learnt about events in ‘living memory’. We then learnt that after the 100 years the timeline shows events that happened beyond living memory as there is no-one alive (100 years) to remember these events.
Next we carried out an activity where we built upon our previous learning. We placed the Y1 events on the timeline. Then we were introduced to the new historical card – Guy Fawkes and placed it in the correct position on the timeline.
