Today we celebrated World Book Day. The theme this year for our school was ‘building a better world together’. This relates closely to our school vision.
We worked on ideas that resulted in our own piece of work that created a plan for building a future and making the world a better place.
We read the book ‘What we’ll build’ by Oliver Jeffers and discussed the things in our lives that we can build. In Year 2 we focused on building a better future. We thought about what Tankersley Primary School might look like in the future and how it might meet the needs of our children.
