THE SHINING STARS ENJOYED PRESENTING THEIR LEARNING ABOUT CHINESE NEW YEAR TO THEIR NURSERY FRIENDS!

The Shining Stars retold The Great Race story and showed the story book, along with a stick puppet slider showing the rat, ox and tiger in first, second and third position in the race. The children presented their Mandarin character writing, some art work and sang a Mandarin Happy New Year song. This was followed by Chinese food tasting and the Reception children’s dragon dance performance, accompanied by the Nursery children’s drum playing. Fantastic learning!
