This week we had a special Anglo-Saxon day in our class and the children took part in a variety of activities. We all dressed up as Anglo Saxons, learnt about life in an Anglo-Saxon village, baked bread, read the famous Anglo-Saxon story about Beowulf and sang a song about Alfred the Great. Everyone really enjoyed the day and it helped us to learn and remember more about life during this interesting time in history.
