‘Who am I?’ is the enquiry question for the Hungry Caterpillars this half term in Nursery. The children have been finding out that we learn about the world around us by using our five senses. This week they explored their sense of taste. After listening to a wonderful story, ‘Oliver’s Fruit Salad’ by Vivian French, they took turns helping to cut up lots of different fruit for their own fruit salad at snack-time. The children enjoyed tasting the different fruit and talking about the fruit they liked tasting the most ( and the least!) Strawberries were definitely the most popular fruit! Pineapple and mango got lots of thumbs up too!
