The children learnt so much as they observed and asked questions about a range of creatures, including meerkats, porcupines, parrots, owls, tamarin monkeys and otters, to name a few! The Shining Stars also took part in a hands on ‘Feather, Fur and Scales’ workshop. The children used lots of fantastic vocabulary, such as camouflage and they even fed the giant tortoises. There was an adventure playground, water chutes around the park and some lovely farm animals to look at. It was magical in the Butterfly and Bird houses, where the children used their senses to explore and show joy, awe and wonder! The sand and water park was also a very fun place to be! Thank you to all of our children, parents, carers and staff who made it such a wonderful day trip!
