The children have enjoyed playing the caterpillar number track game, taking turns to roll the die and filling their own number track with the same number of counters. They have made comparisons between each other’s caterpillar tracks and worked out how many more counters they needed to reach number 10 and win the game. The children have also explored number pairs to 10, looked at the number sentence patterns and applied their number bond knowledge to reasoning problems. The children have both represented and recorded their learning in different ways.
