The Hungry Caterpillars have been learning about how and why we celebrate Bonfire Night. We used information books and our Smartboard to find out about a ‘bad guy’ called Guy Fawkes!
We sang a new song called ‘Bonfire Night is great’ in a circle around a pretend bonfire and found out about keeping safe. The wonderful Mrs Crossley showed the children how to move like an exploding firework rocket during our weekly P.E. lesson in the school hall. We drew fireworks on paper and our computer. We also enjoyed making glittery Bonfire Night collages in our Studio Space and playing with black glittery play dough.
It has been a very busy and sparkly week in Nursery!
