A special place in the nursery classroom is the ‘Prayer Place.’ The Hungry Caterpillars sit there to listen to Bible stories about God and Jesus. The children

sing a ‘thank you’ prayer to God at the end of each morning and afternoon session. They know that prayer time is when we talk to God and he always listens to us. They have been learning about ‘Teaspoon Prayers’- TSP

T hank you…

S orry…

P lease…

They can say their own prayer, draw a picture for God and post it into the prayer box. The children also know that Christians try to be patient and kind. When a teacher sees someone being patient or kind they can put a special Christian attribute bead in a jar. Well done Hungry Caterpillars!
