The Shining Stars have been very busy following their child-initiated learning and also taking part in adult focus activities. They have been thinking about matching and sorting in maths, having lots of fun playing the game: ‘Guess My Rule.’ The children have been working out the rule that decides which shapes belong in the set. The children have then spotted the shape that does not follow the rule. The children have also decided upon their own rules, made their own sets of shapes and challenged adults and other pupils to describe the rules of the sets.
