The Hungry Caterpillars have been learning about Christenings and baptism for two weeks. This week the Early Years children have taken part in the pretend Christening of ‘baby’ Zog! (His name was chosen by the pretend mummy and daddy!) A corner of nursery transformed into St. Peter’s Church and Mrs. Terrell pretended to be the vicar. It was a lovely Christening and celebration afterwards. The children even helped to make the Christening cake. We must say a HUGE thank you to Wendy Oldfield for all her help. Congratulations to the baby’s proud parents, Isla and Gideon! We all enjoyed the special, happy occasion.
