A huge Well Done to all of the children in Class One for a wonderful start the the school year. The children have settled in really well and have been busy exploring the classroom. They have particualy enjoyed making models in the construction area, painting pictures in The Studio and creating wonderful small worlds using a range of different resources.
We have also begun our phonics sessions this week, the children have worked really hard to remember thier sounds. In our English lessons the children have amazed us with thier super sentence writing, we are working hard on forming letters carefully. In maths children have been counting and writign numbers, they have been remembering how to use a tens frame to help them.
