The Hungry Caterpillars have been finding out about the beautiful season of autumn. The children enjoyed going for an autumn walk around our school’s grounds to collect different autumn leaves. We have been learning a poem about falling autumn leaves. We have also used magnifying glasses to look carefully at conkers, pine cones and the fantastic colours on different types of leaves on our autumn investigation table. We have enjoyed creating wonderful autumn art work in our Studio Space for an autumn display, as well as finding out about autumn from stories and information books.
